in the universe there were many dragons, as the universe cooled the cold blooded dragons seeked out warmth. the only source left: a small ball of molten rock known as Gaia, the dragons pressed their bodies against the heat tangling their bodies into a large nest, this lasted for a few million years but the galaxies continued to cool, the dragons seeing no alternative held themselves together tighter, the smaller dragons burrowing deeper into the gaps.
they dragons start to die, the dragons blood goes cold, their superheated hearts stop; the smallest of dragons survive for a time, the use much less heat and can burrow deeper into their former kin. a lot choose remain in slumber waiting for another heat source that may save them. some choose to use their remaining time.
the dragons bones are made of metals, their eyes gems, their flesh becomes the earth and rock, their blood once cools becomes large bodies of water.
